Ukrainian corn prices remain overheated. As of 28 April, offers for May–June handysize shipments stood at 263–265 USD/MT CIF Marmara, marking a weekly gain of 5 USD/MT.

One of the key drivers behind the recent price surge was sales to some Asian destinations, another major factor was steady demand from Turkey. However, this support may soon weaken, as the 1 MMT import quota with a reduced duty is nearly exhausted — almost two months ahead of schedule — with only around 12 KMT still available.

At the same time, firmness in Turkey’s domestic market persisted. Exact prices of Turkish market are available for ASAP Agri Premium subscribers.
