Turkey’s state grain board (TMO) has begun releasing some of its corn stocks for sale to poultry farmers, Bulent Ozsoy, a broker at Atria Brokers said.

“Some of the corn stocks in TMO warehouses have been opened for sale to poultry farmers, based on their actual one-month consumption,” Ozsoy said.

The volume could reach up to 200 KMT, he added.

According to TMO's report, local corn prices in Turkey’s southern regions are set at around 285-290 USD/MT, effective from 2 May.
