Turkey's TMO has set sale prices for milling
wheat from its warehouses, with a focus on selling from open piles,
particularly in the eastern regions, which are expected to face winter
conditions first.
The lowest prices are recorded in eastern and
northeastern Turkey, where a limited number of milling enterprises have
contributed to the lower price levels. Prices for wheat from closed warehouses
are 235 USD/MT for feed wheat and 250 USD/MT for 12.5% milling wheat, while
wheat from open piles is priced 220/235 USD/MT correspondingly.
Conversely, the highest prices are observed
in regions near Marmara ports, although TMO's wheat stocks, opened for sale in
these areas, are minimal. Prices for closed warehouses are 255 USD/MT for feed
grade and 270 USD/MT for 12.5% wheat, while wheat from open piles is priced
240/255 USD/MT correspondingly.
In rest of the regions covering the largest
volumes of TMO's wheat stocks, prices are set at 240/255 USD/MT for closed
warehouses and 225/240 USD/MT for open piles.
Additionally, a manipulation fee of 2 USD/MT
will be applied to sales from closed warehouses, incentivizing purchases from
open piles.
